How to Prevent Gator Forms Emails From Going to Spam
If your Gator Forms emails consistently end up in the spam folder, you need to make some changes to how your site sends email.
- In the “Settings” area of Gator Forms, choose set “Mailer type” to “SMTP”.
- Enter all the authentication details.
Also in the “Settings” area, set “Send from one domain” to “Yes”. This means that your sender email will use the same address as your website and be more trusted by spam filters.
You can also edit email templates to use more human-friendly. There is no simple answer what to write to make your spam filter believe that it is not a spam. You will have to test different versions of your emails.
You can also setup other protections on your server, including TXT records DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) and Sender Policy Framework (SPF). Please ask your hosting company or server administrator to help you with that.
