Open a Gator Form Pop-Up Using Custom HTML

It is possible to open a Gator Form in a pop-up using HTML and no WordPress features.. This feature is only available in Gator Forms Pro.

Create your form

  • The first step is to create a Gator Form.
  • Choose “Hidden before opening”.

  • Make sure that the form will display “On all pages”.

  • Look for the ID number. In the image above the ID number is 1. This will be very important for loading your form.

Open with a text link

If you wish to open contact form using a tetx link, then use this syntax:

<a href="#" class="pwebcontact?_toggler>Click here</a>

In this situation, replace ? with the ID number of your form. A good example of this would be:

<a href="#" class="pwebcontact1_toggler">Click here</a>

Open with an image link

If you wish to open contact form via an image link, then use this syntax:

<a href="#" class="pwebcontact?_toggler><img src="/..."></a>

In this situation, replace ? with the ID number of your form. A good example of this would be:

<a href="#" class="pwebcontact1_toggler"><img src="..."></a>

Open by Adding to a URL

You can also open a Gator Forms Pro pop-up using any URL. Simply add this to a URL so it will open automatically:

#pwebcontact1:open
