How to Send Gator Forms Messages to Google Sheets

You can store your Gator Forms entries in Google Sheets. This guide will show you how.

First, you will need some preparation before attempting this tutorial:

  • Have a Gator Form created and ready to use.
  • Have a Google account and create a blank Google Sheet. Ideally you’ll have a new sheet just for Gator Forms:

Now let’s show you how to connect your Gator Forms to your Google Sheet.

  • Go to Gator Forms > Settings.
  • In the “Advanced settings” area, look for the “Google API Access Code” setting.
  • Click the “Click here” link.

  • Click the blue “Allow” button to grant Gator Forms access to your site.

  • Copy the code that Google gives you.

  • Paste that code back into¬†“Google API Access Code” setting of your site.
  • Click “Save”.
  • Click the “Email” tab inside your Gator Form.

  • Click the “Advanced” tab.
  • Look for the “Google Sheets” integration area.
  • Follow the instructions an enter the “Spreadsheet ID” for your Google sheet.
  • If you want to, you can also follow the instructions and click “Get columns names”.
  • Click “Save”.

  • Now you can test out your Gator Form. Entries will be sent directly from Gator Forms to Google Sheets:
